Senna-Powder

Senna is an herbal medicine made from the leaves, flowers, and fruit
of a large group of flowering plants in the legume family.
Senna contains many chemicals called sennosides.
Sennosides irritate the lining of the bowel, which causes a laxative effect.
It is used to treat constipation and also to clear the bowel before procedures such as colonoscopy.
You can use senna powder to make tea. The recommended daily dosage
is 15-30mg. It is important to note that you should not drink the tea for
an extended period of time.
